Has anyone tried to use a k190 controlled via the web.  Would be interested in hearing about how you went about it.  I am working on a Outdoor Wood Furnace control system, and the K190 would be a perfect fit, if it could be viewed and controlled over the internet.

If you want to write your own software, consider Android, using the Basic for Android (B4A) development environment (http://www.basic4ppc.com).

If you prefer a simpler approach, Google on "remote access software"

Either way,
- use the 190E firmware from Ozitronics, this will maintain temp control, even if the computer crashes  (http://www.ozitronics.com)
- you need to consider what happens to the furnace if/when the power fails
