We have noticed that the K20 sensors have changed with the last batch of kits supplied June 2013. They no longer have one pin connected to the metal case so it is not possible to use this method to determine which Rx pin goes to ground. The new sensors have a Bakelite base and there is a raised collar around one pin. Please can you clarifiy the polarity of this pin.

I believe these new sensors are non-polarised so they can be connected either way around.

Hi I want to hide Ultrasonic movement detector (CK0203) in a metal container. Does the ultrasonic wave penetrate though the metal and detect a physical movement ?

Any suggestions for a sensor that I can hide in the material and detect a physical movement in a short range ?

Nothing comes to mind.

I suggest a Google search, which is what I would have to do anyway!
