Hi,

I'm a tinkerer who bought a clone k149bc on a popular auction site...

Being a bit let down that it struggles to properly raise the programing voltage for a 16F648A from the USB only connection I'd like to replace it, and as I like the software, I'd like to replace it with a genuine (better) offering from yourselves.

The listed UK supplier (quasar) does not seem to list your programmers??

please advise.

There are known problems with using a usb connection with the K149.
In fact, if you go to Frank's ozitronic.com site, you'll see that the latest
version of the genuine K149 has the usb connection removed.

I don't know about UK sites, but if you do want a genuine K149, you
can get it from Ozitronics.  Yes, it's in Australia, but he ships worldwide
and you'll get good service and good support.
